Kinda cool but what he is doing on those hills is not smart.

So what, a machine to drive around your place on. Kind of neat, but it should have had some front tool system and PTO. If it's not a hydro, it would be a real waste.

That's better!

I have said it before. What the North american Market is offered is PATHETIC! I get Canada, it's a looser nation (fast becoming third world status) and not a big market, but the US?

They where both interesting pieces of equipment but that Yanmar was way to small for the operator,
he didn't look that big but he was sure cramped.

I love to look at gray market tractors on foreign Ebay sites, you sometimes run into something that is too cool! While not a bargain, this one was too good not to share Yanmar 18hp compact crawler tractor on rubber tracks,Cat 1, 3 point linkage,PTO | eBay

Mitsubishi MRT-18D and Yanmar AC1 - YouTube ( I LOVE the Mitsubishi)

The Mitsubishi looked pretty nice. I could see using it to run around on my property towing a trailer or a trail mower. Too bad it doesn't offer a front implement mount. Seems like with a soft cab and blower, it would be a great snow clearing machine, too. Thanks for the links.

AMEN! The Europe and Asia markets have a much better grasp on offering it's buyers a variety of incredible machines, especially heavy equipment lines. Unfortunately, I think the manufacturers are guilty of not educating the North American market on taking advantage of all the offerings available. It is probably the consumers fault as well for not embracing everything the industry has to offer. TBN member Xfaxman is a great example of recognizing Europe's lead on using telehandlers as something other than just a forklift! I applaud Bobcat for offering their Versahandlers to the U.S market but I wonder how many they sell here? If more U.S. consumers would be willing to think outside the box, we would have access to many more options.

I agree! Looking more closely at the Iseki model in the link below, I think these machine are basically designed for tilling only and I assume for rice paddys specifically. They would be awesome snow machines with either a front mount blower or plow!!!

In all seriousness, you could put the seat on the hood and drive with the steering wheel between your legs.

We had Wheelhorse tractors with a very heavy airplane moving attachment on the back. The front axle was removed, and the machine articulated between the rear tires and that rear attachment for steering. You sat on the hood to operate it. Worked great, as you were looking at the work.

Here's a link to a bunch of pictures of them. They're called Wheelhorse Airhorses.
