I had this 3-point grader blade for more than 10 years, purchased used one from a local area.

It has been served so well but time to replace the cutting edge due to the dulled

I already flipped over the edge when purchased.

I don't even know what brand name or which company made the blade.

I have researched for a long time about this blade cutting edge with blade hole size.

Fortunately, I found the right cutting edge part number which is 9W2297CD(CD means cente
r drill for the bolt holes.)

The price between the $60 - 150 but truck freight is more than $150 because the weight of the cutting edge is 54lb

But in the research the cutting edge is for caterpillar small grader

So, I contacted the local caterpillar dealer and they have it but not center drill other than that everything is exactly matched.
The price is only $54.00.

The installation is so easy and it works like new again.

Hope this video helps people who need to replace a cutting edge on the 3 point blade.

I had a Land Pride rear blade on my previous tractor. My BIL got me a road grader blade. I worked two days getting it cut to length and the necessary holes drilled. It worked great. Weighed 154 pounds. That rear blade and new cutting edge will last forever. The grader blade stuck down below the rear blade a good four and a half inches. It could be sharpened forever without even rotating it once.

Hard to believe a Caterpillar dealer would actually be willing to sell a brandnew blade like that for only $54 !
Unfortunately my rear John Deere 3 point blade is not easily replaced because it’s not bolted on its welded on. It actually needs replacing now but it still works pretty good so I probably won’t be replacing it.

Cycledude - get a new blade. Line it up with the old blade and let it extend half the width of the new blade -- down below the old blade. Drill thru the new blade and old blade - bolt it on.

At this point any time you can get 54 lbs of new metal ANYTHING for 54 dollars, you're doing good.. I'm shocked you got that price from a dealership!!

Better to mention the bolt head is flat and square the bottom.

To me, the welding option is much better to add on.

I recently learned that those are called plow bolts.

Then even more recently i learned about something slightly different called elevator bolts which have the flat top but are not tapered underneath!

Which are both, with the square shape under their head, variations of carriage bolts i suppose.

It's nice to know the name of things when internet shopping..

Seems like drilling the new holes in the old welded on blade would be very difficult
