I needed a way to move around the trailers when I mow. Also, I am putting up some fence where I cannot get the truck, so having a small trailer with all my stuff on it is nice.

I am not crazy about putting pressure on the bucket with the cylinders extended all the way, but as that I'll not be moving the trailers very far, or with much load on them, I made an exception in this case. This allows me to move a trailer, but still be able to use the bucket. If this does not end up being very useful, then I'll cut it and design it where it will set just above the cutting edge. I'll have to extend it farther out to be able to see what I'm doing though.

Some of the welds 1/8 6011 set somewhere around 115A ( the numbers are too faded to read.) I also used a tiny bit of 7014 on one part, mainly because I have never had a chance to play with it.

I don't have a drill press, so I had to use the torch for the pin holes.

Nice looking weld, why the right angle insert? is the trailer tongue very low?

Pretty low. I tried just putting a hitch in the reciever, but I was having to lift the tounge too high to clear some of the ground I need to cover with the little trailer. It did work okay for just moving the trailers for mowing though.

Besides, that wouldn't have given me the excuse to weld! :D

Yup, my bucket will catch if not careful, got to get a longer drop insert.

I had mine on top like jb4310, but found it too high. After ripping that off (don't ask how) I made my new bracket to go inside the top edge of the bucket. It is now 5" lower and I can just see the top of the ball when hooking up.

Rowdius: I find my tractor gets quite unstable when lifting any kind of weight off one corner of the bucket. I think you will find your Right rear wheel will want air time real easy!

I've seen several of these, but this is the first that the bucket is fully extended. Are you concerned that while pushing a trailer you will damage the hydraulic cylinders?
