Someone else linked to a really nice homebuilt cab was wrote up here some time ago. I took note that the fellow built the nice one also commented it was loud and recommended wearing hearing protection. I found this to be the case with my cab also.
Heater worked well, No AC but so far popping the pins and removing the door and window has worked well to keep it hospitable this spring.
The method I used would be adaptable to most tractors.
