Generic input, non-dealer specific....always ask for references, including some at least a few years old. The measure of a dealer is not just the selling price, or the initial presentation, but also the support down the road, and the manner in which they help (or don't help) a customer resolve a problem or make a repair. Anything mechanical will eventually need fixing.
You'll also want to inquire about any particularly expensive equipment, like a loader...who makes it, what is the warranty, who supports the warrany, who stocks parts, and so on. Those of us using Koyker loaders can simply respond "Koyker, in Lennox, SD". They warrant their loaders for a year, and if a dealer is not responsive, the customer can call/email Koyker, who has a large website as well.
