Tractor dream

As we get closer to my layoff date and move back to the farm, my wife must be getting a little anxious. She had an anxiety dream in which we were living on the farm and my 15 year old son had just wrecked the tractor. It was lying in pieces and he was trying to be cool about it. She said she was trying to make him understand this was terrible.

The first question I asked her was what kind of tractor was it in her dream? She said John Deere. Unfortunately, she did not know the model. Maybe it is a sign.

Well if its John Deere you want thats great, but try and keep it in one piece !

Hmm.... well, that's quite a vision.

I'd take it as a sign that it would be good for son to watch the safety videos on the net... of how a tractor can turn over, etc.... and, maybe put him thru a "tractor driving" course before giving him the keys... maybe get a tractor that will not run unless the seat belt is fastened?

With the kind of acreage you have, it will be tempting to put the tractor in high gear to get to the back pasture... maybe a 4 wheeler with crash helmet would be a good alternative vehicle to have for covering distance. It might even double as a rear weight if you hooked it to the 3 point hitch

Well than, be sure to buy a different color and keep him away from it.
