Looking to purchase forks for my tractor. Any recommendations? My tractors' f.e.l. load capacity is 1050lbs I'm looking at light duty(800 lbs capacity)forks that attach to bucket.Looking to find best deal out there. They would be handy moving pallets of firewood ,brush, logs and lumber.I bought my 1st tractor in April.I need to purchase some attachments ie.box scraper york rake back blade .I am clearing land and waiting for bulldozer work to be done before i can use the latter attachments. For this reason i haven't purchased the latter(along w/having to part w/$$$)

Thanks for the input.I'm not sure i want to take f.e.l. off machine to hook up forks It may be easier to attach forks to bucket, although I'm sure the direct connects are better

You don't list what tractor/loader you have. My JD bucket comes off with two pins, pick up the forks and reinstall those same two pins. Easier than bucket forks. JC

You don't take the loader off. You just take the bucket off. On JD it's just two pins that you pull and the bucket comes off - no tools - 10 seconds. You won't be able to lift a whole pallet of firewood with clamp on forks. You gain capacity with dedicated forks because they are closer to the pivot point. If money is your priority, get the box scraper first. You can carry stuff on top of it and it is a great counterbalance too. What tractor do you have?

dedicated forks are much easier with a QA than pin on. Even if no QA, you lose incredible amount of power with pin on as you are moving the load that much further out. I think you'd find the forks out bucket style pretty useless because of how little weight you'll be able to lift.

I've got pretty much the ones farmwithjunk posted, though ATI in my case I think. Really useful.

I have a Challenger MT265 33hp tractor I really appreciate feedback I will look into dedicated forks the setup on the JD tractors looks killer If its as simple as 2 pins to put forks on I also will look at quick attach to find out whats the best way so i can switch back and forth w/bucket and forks I am getting box scraper which will also act as a counterbalance when using forks
