While you can xref the oil filter number at napa.. I urge you to just get the oem oil filter. it's only a lil more than the napa one anyway.. and the napa one crosses to a car filter anyway.
you want a hyds and air filter too, plus a C rated 15w40 oil.
you will want utf fluid that meets the M2C134D spec.. walmart and tsc carry this ( same with the motor oil ).. the ambra G utf at the dealer is fine.. but expensive.
check the pow steer fluid.. takes utf as well.
sump in the trans/diffy/hyds has a dipstick near your right toe in the op platform. If it has 4wd, front axle takes the same fluids.. there are drains and fills and a stick on the front axle.,..... Yer manual that came with the tractor lists this info.
I used to have a 1920.. and my OEM manual had all this great info in it.
grease the zerks, adjust the clutch when needed, fix stuff that breaks.. keep the tires inflated properly.. check blets and hoses for fraying, cracks and leaks.. use good coolant, preferably CCA treated like most fleet diesel mixes.
if it has 4wd.. use it now and then to keep it engaging smooth and roll the gears over up front now and then.
keep trash and leaves cleaned out of the minscule lil toolbox behind the seat so it doesn't collect moisture and rust out.
lube the pto stuf and keep the plastic cap over it when not in use.
clean the screen at the radiator or at least check it often in dusty or conditions that make chaff... like mowing.
IMHO.. the 1920 and the 2120 were some of ford/nh's best offering in that size range.

I am helping out a friend who use to have someone service his Ford NH 1920 tractor. Besides oil/filter and greasing zerks, what other maintenance items are there? I know I can measure the amount that drains out but is there a website I can check to find out how much oil this thing holds? No owners manual. Thought I would replace with a 15w40. Same question for the oil filter. Would the local Advance Auto store have a listing for tractors?
