How long does it usually take when a new tractor model is introduced before someone comes out with a service manual? I have a 2004 L3400 and apparently there is no after market manual yet in print.
I have an L3010 from 2002 and the Kubota manual is pretty worthless for most non-shop applications.
I don't think additional manuals are necessary unless you are really into it. I understand there are a lot of MEs in this forum but, IMHO, for most practical purposes a shop manual is not a requirement.
I have also never seen an after market shop manual for an L3010.
I second that, to my knowledge there is no such thing as an aftermarket shop manual. Kubota obviously has them and they are remarkably affordable given how expensive these things can be.
Kubota publishes shop manuals for my B7800 and FEL.
Check with www.tractorsmart.com to find out whether there is a shop manual for the L3400. I have found the shop manuals for the B7800 fairly useful and MUCH more informative than the owner's manual.
