New Holland TC55DA
I have a New Holland TC55DA with EHSS . It has started popping out of gear. When I attempt to put it back into gear the tractor will stall. It starts right up again but still stalls when putting into gear. If I let it sit for awhile it will start and run fine again for a few minutes and then start acting up again. I believe I have a sensor going out but don't know where to start looking. Any help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. Welcome.
The popping out of gear could be linkage adjustment. How many hours on the machine?
Add some fuel system cleaner to the tank. You may have water in the system.

Only a little over 1700 hours on the tractor. It's a EHSS tranny set up. I think I have a sensor going out. When it stalls out it will start again without any problem . It's not until I try and put it into gear that it acts up ( dies immediately ). Like I said if I let it sit it will run again for awhile, like the sensor is cooling down and closing again. My dealer is going to download a repair manual for me so I'll have acess to the diagrams for elect. and hydraulics

Could be the seat sensor. If you are getting out of the seat for awhile, then get back on it resets it temporarily.

Thanks for the try but I'm still in the seat when it happens. I think it has something to do with the EHSS control module or switch under the inching pedal ( pot )

Yeah it was just a WAG since my DX55 is the same as yours except red. It just reminds me of the seat switch function since it kills the engine. But they all work together (brake, EHSS, inching, seat, pto) so it is definitely difficult to trace. I think if it were me, I'd still disconnect the seat switch and add a temporary bypass wire as a test. Let us know how you get it resolved. It might help someone else on here too. Thanks
