Has anyone ever welded the forks on a rake? Didn't know if this would be a good thing to do..
They do get loose from time to time, and gets bent.
I just didn't want to lose one or more of the teeth.. I have lost a tooth on the box blade took me hours to find it under the Mud ;,(

I'm not sure that is a good idea because
the tines are designed to be replaced if bent or broken

Like stated not a good idea, the tines are heat treated and tempered...
To be fair it can be done but the procedure is usually left to certified welders, there is a whole set of preheating, welding with correct filler, temperature and possibly slow cooling or after heat that has to maintained to produce a weld that won't fail or the tine won't fail..

Red top is absolutely right. Those are spring steel so they would have to be welded then stress relieved then re-heat treated. Possible but ain't worth the time and effort just buy another one

Maybe you should look into attaching them a batter way if there always loose and falling out.

Why are they coming loose?
