Tractor Season Again!

No point to this post other than to share my extreme joy with the change in seasons. I live in SE PA, and the winter we had was seemingly endless, and there's nothing worse than a winter without snow! But, that's all over.

Over the past two weeks, I've moved around 1/4 mile of cut-down trees, dug up some stumps, peeled away old grass and graded the ground, taken my little daughter for lots of tractor rides, relocated a few bucketfuls of pavers to be laid later, did some woods-perimeter cleanup, and cleared an area in my woods for activities to be determined later.

It's been absolutely glorious sitting outside running the backhoe in a t-shirt and finally feeling like I'm accomplishing something again. I'm really looking forward to my second summer with my Kubota.

There's only one thing better than a big kid riding around on a tractor.......... taking a little kid for a ride on one!

What is this "Tractor season again" ?

Are you saying you don't have to bundle up, venture forth on a the cold winter day that is at around -15 C and clear snow from the last storm?? And then do it all over again in a few days time!

I did have some tractor time over the winter, but not very much. Not sure what happened, but I was sick almost the entire winter, whereas I am normally never sick. So, that's probably the main reason the tractor spent most of the winter lonely in the garage!
