Tractor seems to use a lot of hydraulic oil

My 2011 JD 5065E with loader (350 hours) is always very thirsty for Hy-Gard oil...I can't see any leaks?

I am (most obviously) not an expert so would be happy to hear any thoughts on this; I had to add about two gallons recently after a month or so of normal use....she runs great though?

Check your engine and make sure it's not going there.

I agree with checking the engine oil but not likely if you’ve lost 2 gallons. Does the tractor get parked on concrete?

While you are using it just keep an eye peeled for anything unusual. Loose hydro connections, trail of oil etc. Put some clean cardboard under it when you park it, might help locating something. .

Is the loader (and 3 point) only hydraulics used? No attaching remotes to anything?

I don't know about the HyGard oil but if it doesn't have a dye marker in it, you might want to add some. I use the red dye from Deere.

Part # MT3668. It sure makes it easier to spot leaks.

How would oil go in motor? At the pump?
Seems like 2 gallons in a month would show up somewhere.
