Since getting the my NH TC24 back in October, I've been finding more and more uses for it. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
We got about 3" of snow already this evening. This morning I promised my five year old son that we would go sledding after dinner if it snowed. The snow we got this afternoon on top of the 10" we got on Monday, on top of the 6" from Saturday didn't make for very good sledding in the back yard. It was just to deep.
BUT, with only three inches on the driveway. It was perfect for sledding with a blow up tobogan (its supposed to look like a snowmobile) that I picked up at Wal-Mart for $6.00.
I hooked a 30' piece of rope to the back of the tractor and I had an instant "chair lift." My son would sled down the driveway and I would tow him back up.
I think he enjoyed being towed up the driveway as much as sledding down. I would have killed for a 400' sled run when I was a kid. The hill at the jr. high school, down the road, was only about 50' or so.
Now, do I plow the driveway in the morning or not. I know what my son will say. Schools around here cancel at the sight of the first snowflake, so I'm sure he'll be off. If I could only convince the boss I need to stay home so I can go sledding with my son. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
