So frustrating after all day waste to finally ground wire coming off battery to frame. Looked clean but I cleaned anyway an poof it started. Well after 6 hrs working yesterday got on this morn an same thing click click click. Checked ground wire but this time didn’t start. I’m open for help please

Remove cables from battery. Clean battery terminals and cable connectors. Replace and tighten. While attempting to start the tractor have somebody monitor the battery voltage. If it goes below ten volts you need to charge or replace it.

I did all that last month when I went thru my three day pull ur hair. Thought it was battery checked all that even took it to get it tested. Mahindra bolts ground cable side of frame w other wires. Took it off an look clean. My farmer uncle told me take it back off an clean it good w wire brush even though it looked clean. Started right up an month later here we go again. But didn’t work. Oh yeah battery yr old. What next

If you have any crimped on terminals I'd look them over. They corrode between the connector and wire. Replace them with a solder on end and cover it with heat shrink tubing.

It sounds like you're on the right track but you're getting an excessive voltage drop somewhere. Monitor the voltage on the big terminal on the starter. It may not be the full twelve volts but it should be over ten. Check the voltage on the input and output sides of the solenoid. If you've done all the necessary cleaning and the battery is good it's time for some serious troubleshooting.

Also especially if you have exposed wire at either end of the cables, you could have corrosion under the insulation. This is not common, but also not uncommon.
If this conditions exist, replacing the cable is the only solution I know of.
Also I prefer solder ends (both for bolts and battery connector) and shrink wrap (often multiple layers).

when you tighten the battery connectors, twist them by hand to make sure they dont move. seen this so many times i cant count.

i also have someone try starting it while i twist the connector by hand...wearing a good heavy glove. if the unit starts, time to fix cable or replace it. the lead does stretch out over time.

Always check the easy answers first, how old is the battery and how are the cranking amps?

Yes sir I checked the crimps. That’s a good idea
