It seems like the number of postings on Tractorbynet under the Chinese tractor forums is less than it once was. Is it my imagination? If any of the long term members see this too, why do you think this is the case?

Another symptom of inflation, I suppose. Now forum posts are being devalued, too.:confused2:

The retiring baby boomers may have about bought all they need too. Also the typically small old farm tractor prices have crashed putting pressure on new sales perhaps.

My NT254 has been running perfect lately :^) so haven't had to post.

I've got a long list of mods I have always wanted to do and plan to post about, but lately I am always at work with no time to play.

Everytime I have a little problem with my 224, it is this forum that helps me get the job done.
Thats what's important to me. I have never had to take my Jinma to the shop so far. Knock on wood.

My thoughts as well, not much going on in the Chinese tractor community. My little JM-354 has been doing well on $4.30 a gallon fuel. The basic, no frills, tractor just doesn't give much problems and that was the idea of the Jinma purchase. I've help put in about eight 1/2 acre garden plots this year, so the tractor has been busy. bjr

Spring symptom I think, there are less purchases from the people that need small CUT type tractors in the down turn we had so less NEW owners and more Dealers to help them out.

I also think that the owners are taking more time working and family and less time tinkering...

The boards have such an accumulation of knowledge at this point that you can find a solution for most of the problems that occur with a search. As well, some of the dealers have been so great at answering questions that I am sure they get pm'd and called directly. Plus (touch wood) my Jinma has been behaving well. All of these are good things but I do miss following some of the threads where others have bravely charged ahead with mods and repairs that I find really interesting.
