Looking for some options for carrying tools on my tractor. The "box" it came with (Massey) is a joke. Other models I looked at didn't seem to offer a decent system to carry tools either. Of course the bucket works great- until you need it then you have to unload it all, do your FEL thing, then reload. Short of fabricating something from scratch, do you know of any 3rd party manufactured options for carrying tools?

At a minimum I'd like to carry some basic wrenches, pliers, chain attachments and such. Ideally even something (connected to the 3 pt. hitch maybe?) that could hold chains, chainsaw etc.

Do a search on here for carryalls. There is some on youtube also.

I installed a larger tool box, a heavy plastic one from Amazon. I placed it in the same place the original tool box was.

I see a lot of guys on here inserting pvc into 55 gal 3pt concrete ballast. You might want to look at some of the recent ballast discussions.

Mine has a rather small plastic tool box. Thought about a bigger one but the fact is - other than shear bolts and couple wrenches - I've never needed much more. A bigger box just encourages a greater accumulation and I want to stay away from that. In over 30 years I've never had a breakdown - other than shear bolts - out on the property, knock on wood..... I do an awful lot of PM when the tractor is sitting in the shed.

I removed the original and replaced it with this.

The master gardeners gave many of us tool belts. The thing is too big and bulky to put on my body; so, I put in on top of one of the FEL attachment towers. Picture below.
