John deaf x728
I own a John Deere x520 with 120 hours on it. The attachments are a double bagger, 54inch mower deck, 44inch snowblower, and a 48 inch blade which has never been used, and I was wanting to know what the trade in price of him would be.

Frankly, I wouldn't care, other than establishing a base line. In a month, that machine will sell 8 times over on craigs.

Unless he is your brother or cousin, he's going to make $600-$800 on your machine, reselling it. Why would you? I dunno.:confused2:

Well the machine is only 6 months old and I hope to make at least $7,000 on trade in not including the attachments.

I also not talking about what he would make on a sell but how much much money he would give me if I were to sell it to him and then use the money I get from him to buy a John Deere x728.

Are you saying that you want a John Deere dealer to give you $7,000 trade in for your X520?
If so, no way are you going to get that much.
This is what your X520 lists for.
List Price: $6,659.00* (USD)

In a nutshell, you bought retail 6 months ago. If you "trade in" you are actually selling it back to the dealer for wholesale or less. Then, pay retail again for another machine.
You'll take it in the shorts on this deal. Sales tax on the first one and sales tax on the second one too. You'll take a pounding, if you add it up honestly.

The only way you can trade this quickly is to sell what you have outright. You will at least limit the bleeding some. But,,,,, a guys gonna do what a guys gonna do.
