Tractor
Hurlimann 435, Fordson E27n, Bolens HT-23, Kubota B7200, Kubota B2601
So I bought a B2601 to get the turf tires that my Hurlimann didn't have. "Save the Lawn!"
Now I use the Kubota for most tasks, and the Hurlimann just sits with the back blade on. Waiting to scrape road or snow. The B7200 just pulls the garden wagon, and serves as the snow blower mule.
I should have just "re-tired" the Hurlimann, but the Kubota was only a bit more $ than the cost for a replacement set of wheels and tires to get the SL&H on turfs. Funny how that works.

The world is topsy turvey, wheels and tires ? Or just get another tractor.

I've been cutting trees and chipping, shredding. branches for the past two days. The wife wants more sun light. The MacKissic unit works a treat! The Kubota has more than enough HP, I wish I could keep up!

That Hurlimann has a lot of features going for it! Strange how things work....

I know what you mean. I bought a tractor last year and it needed tires. Fronts were $2,000 a piece and rears were $4,000 a piece.
40 years ago, I could have bought a used tractor for about the same as a set of stinkin tires. lol
Tires are insanely expensive.

I saw a nice looking little IH the other day, then I saw the asking price, damn.
It was an IH 884 they are asking $24,000 for it.

Wouldn’t that be 3 or 4 times of what that vintage of tractor would have cost when new?

I don't think s, that was about the new cost back in the late 80's.
