Traded my M5040 2wd for a M5040 4wd Cab!

Just finished working out the details for trading in my 30 hour, 2wd M5040 and Woods BB72 cutter for a new M5040 Cab, 4wd, Hyd Shuttle, Radio, Air ride seat, Front Weights, and Woods DS 96 cutter!

Should take delivery probably Monday or Tuesday next week after they get the radio and Air ride seat installed.

Dealer gave me a good deal on my trade and a good price an my new Tractor.

I should have gone ahead and got the Cab to begin with..... but in the end it all worked out.

I can't wait!

I know that you will like the cab and AC comfort. I was in my woods today skidding logs, the last hitch that I brought out was so heavy that I had to assit my steering with the brakes. Gets kind of light in the front at time. But front weights would not work well in the woods. Enjoy.

It was something I had been thinking about doing and after talking to my dealer and being able to work out the details I decided to go ahead and get the tractor that I should have gotten to begin with.

Congratulations. I looked into trading in my 06 M5040 with 300 hours on it for a new 08 model with a cab. My dealer wanted my tractor plus $15,000 for a M6040 cab he had immediate access to. Looks like I'll be staying cab free for awhile longer.
