I'm considering trading my 2013 CK35 HST in for a DK40SE HST and wondering what is better, the cash rebate or "free loader"?
I bought the CK35 last year to replace a 6 year old New Holland TC35D. I thought the smaller size would be more convenient until I started mowing and baling hay this year, it just doesn't have the ground clearance. I love the tractor except for one other issue and that is the hydraulics leak down. If I park it with the loader 2 feet above the ground, within an hour it's on the ground. It even leaks down as you are operating it. The mechanics at the dealer, say that some creep is normal. I've had 3 different New Hollands and never had this issue.
My local dealer says he can still get the DK40SE, but they are getting real hard to find so if I want one I should decide fast. I think they are a lot more tractor for the money and just wondered what the difference in the rebate deals would be. I'm told the cash rebate is $3800 and have no idea what the free loader value would be..
