I'm selling my '06 Cam Superline 9 ton power tilt-deck trailer.

I'm looking at all kinds of brands of 12 ton backhoe trailers-Appalachian, Cam Superline, etc.

Anyone have any experience with any backhoe tag along trailers?

We sell Hudson back hoe trailers at work. They dont seem to move that well compared to a Eager Beaver 10 ton for some reason. I am not sure if its the price (I dont know the prices) or if becaue Eager Beaver is known name.

EB is probably the biggest name in backhoe trailers. they're pretty expensive, but you get what you pay for.

at auction have seen very nice 14 ton tags with ramps go for $4000. Many of these are well maintained PG&E trailers. Where do You live? I go to Nationwide auctions at benicia ca. 4/14 has a nice looking one towmaster vin 160485. I need one but will be on the East cost that day! check their site

At work I pull beaver tail type trailers often.
We have a 10 ton Eager Beaver and a 20 ton Dyna Weld.
The Dyna Weld is great, I really like it.
I personally don't care for the Eager Beaver, the Dyna Weld is a better trailer in my opinion.

There is a pretty big difference between a 10 ton Eager Beaver and a 20 ton Eager Beaver. Its all in a preference. I personally have always like Rogers low beds. There are so many different types of trailer out there now, its hard to decide between them. Its like the tractor market today, there are so many makes out there to look at when trying to buy one, if you don't have a couple brands in mind, you will spend allot of time "tire kicking" to see what you like best. But its what you like and prefer that matters, and most of all, the cost.

I need to carry a Case 580 4x4 X hoe. That's what I'm renting right now and will probably buy.

I don't have money for an exotic, expensive trailer. I just want a trailer that holds up well and is affordable.
