I am looking at trading up from 2210 to 2520. I have a couple of questions for those that have some experience with the 2520. All opinions and help greatly appreciated.

I am ordering the MMM and the BH - do I get independent lift or not?

I realize many on this site have said they like R4's better - I was still wanting R3's - how much will these rub and how can I minimize this if I want to stick with R3's?

Can you get both front and rear work lights ?

Is it possible to use a rear blade with hydraulic angle control using the power beyond from the BH? The rear blade I have for the 2210 is a bison - manual changes only of course. Does anyone know of a blade that would fit on a 2520 and have hydraulic control?

I know I would be better off price wise buying in the US (I am in Canada with this great exchange rate now) - but I am trying to trade in my 2210 and have a dealer willing to take it on trade. Any other Canadians out there who have traded a tractor in the US??

Thanks for any help

Instead of trading, have you considered selling the 2210 in Canada and then purchasing from Mutton Power in the US?

Not sure what 2210 JD's are actually selling for in Canada, but asking prices are high. There is a 2210 / mower / tiller / blower currently in trader.ca for $13,000 that you could check out and compare with yours.

Folks seem split on this, I would suggest NOT getting it to start, you can always add it later if you feel you need it.

The R4's shouldn't rub at all...

Yes, but you'll have to do some minor customizing.

The PowerBeyond is just a "loop" of high pressure hydraulic fluid. You will still need a valve (or "remote") to operate the blade. Some have added their own, and I think there is a factory kit available or in the works.
