Kubota B3200
I've got a B3200 with FEL and BH. I took the backhoe off for the winter and replaced it with a ballast box so I can't get a measurement of the entire tractor/loader/backhoe length.

I found an 18' tandem axle trailer for a good price but I don't know if the tractor will fit on it. I calculated the weight of the TLB to be 3200lbs, so that's not an issue, the trailer is rated for 7000 lbs.

I'm just not sure if the length is enough.

Any thoughts?

I load my l2550 with backhoe on an 18' 7000lb tilt bed trailer and the bucket sits flat on the deck and the backhoe when turned to the side does not hang over the back. Your wheelbase is 1" less than mine.

If those are the Kubota FEL and BH, I think you are light in your weight estimate.

B3200 1763
BH76 1400
16" Backhoe bucket 84
LA504 492
FEL Bucket 216

Total 3955

These weights are per the Kubota Canada website (Don't know why the US website doesn't provide as much detail information). If the trailer is 2,000 lbs, you're still OK, but you probably don't have as much margin as you supposed. As for length, if you have to crab the boom off to one side to get it to fit, it means you really don't have much, if any, margin for balancing your load on the trailer. If you're lucky, it will balance out OK, but if it were me, I'd want to actually put the TLB on the trailer to check it before buying.

Very good advice. If you can't position the weight over the axles it can pull badly. Too much weight in the hitch is hard on the truck. To light of weight on the hitch can cause the trailer to whip.

I have the same setup and I load mine on an Appalacian 18' car hauler (16' deck with 2' tail with brakes on both axles). It fits fine and rides/pulls fine. I usually back it on the trailer and have about a foot or so to move for your tongue positioning. I hauled it with this setup over 300 miles and it was a very smooth pull and trip. I have a gmc Sierra 5.3 v8.
If I had it to do over I would probably have ordered the 20' (18' with 2' tail) with the 9900gvr which at the time would have been about $400. more and 250 lbs. in weight. But I am happy with what I have and it suits my purposes.

An 18' trailer is a good fit for the B3200TLB. I put the front of the fel about a foot from the front rail on the trailer. I have enough room to set the bucket of the backhoe on the deck of the trailer and have no over hang.
With a 4' bushhog on the B3200 and fel I will have about 2' hanging off the back of the trailer.
And yes the weight is right at 4000 lbs with the fel and backhoe attached.
Does the trailer have brakes on both axles?

I use a 14k gvw Cam 18' tilt bed to haul my 3540 Cab with loader and BH92 backhoe. The weight of the tractor is about 8K. My only problem is that I need to upgrade to a 3/4 ton truck to haul it.

Thanks for the weight info Grandad4.

The trailer does have electric brakes on it. Good suggestion about trying the tractor on the trailer before I buy it!

Tompet, just curious. Can you load the TLB with the BH curled or do you have to crab it sideways to fit on the 18' trailer?

Thanks for the input all.

My neighbor loaned me his 18-ft Big Tex Trailer to transport my BX25. He uses this trailer to transport his Kubota L-35 Backhoe. Here's a pic of my BX on it.

I have a 16' car hauler trailer that I use to transport my BX25 with FEL and BH attached, plenty of room to spare, even. Here's a pic:
