The only difference with mine basically is I have a lever action binder on the chain so it fits real tight on the forks.
One other thing I did was I took the ball off and welded a receiver tube on so I can use a 6" high rise stinger with ball on it. That way I can jack-knife the trailer and not hit it with the fixture attached to the forks. It will bend the ball receiver on the trailer.
thats a good idea about welding a receiver on, thanks for the tip, i will weld one on this weekend, and i do think i have a spare small load binder laying around too.
Handy. I made one two in about 5 minutes for an emergency... just drilled two pieces of channel I had laying around for a ball and two bolts. I put it over the end of the forks and tighten up the bolts to sandwich it against the forks. But I'd eventually like to make a nice one for when I have an attachment on the back I don't want to move.
