trailer hitch for FEL

i think it would be easy to move a trailer if you had a hitch
on the FEL. has anybody done this? i need to know how far
out to extend beyond the FEL. appreciate any help.

It depends on how tight of turns you want to make. The further out your pivot point, the sharper you can turn. Just keep in mind the trade off. The further out you put it, the stronger whatever extension you build must be and the more torque you're putting on your bucket.

Lots of people here have done it.
Do a search and u should see many different styles.
If u have a Q-T on the FEL, it could be a seperate plate w/ 2" square tube so u can change hitches.
I built mine on a seperate plate that also has a Speeco 3 PT quick hitch so I can use the rear stuff on the front of my SSL.

William, I know of an RV park that has an older Ford tractor with a FEL and the guy simply drilled a hole in the front center of the bucket and mounted a hitch ball in that hole. And that's what he uses to move travel trailers around.

Local trailor store uses a fork lift. Has a 2 inch ball mounted on one of the forks.

Same fork lift can pick them up to stack them (yeah, space is tight around there) or hook on and tow them.

Don't even need a ball, just curl bucket all the way down and hook the ball socket with the hook and go. Works for me!
