I used a Makita 12V Nicad powered drill on my 25' 5th. wheel landing gear and stabilizers for years without problems.

I have no experience with one yet, but have been thinking of doing a conversion myself as I am tired of cranking it by hand. The other option is to go with an electric over hydraulic and spend the big $$$$

I first seen that hydraulic jack I thought that's it because the trailer I want it for has hydraulics already and then I had sticker shock. For six hundred dollars I think I could fab up something. thought about using a pulley system to gear it down so my drill could pull it.

Tell me more, I seen on youtube a guy using a drill on a sea crate trailer that is where I got the idea from.

If it's already set up with hydraulics then build a hydraulic jack, wouldn't be hard.
