I am new to the board. I have been reading and lurking for a while and can't find the answers I am looking for. I just bought a ym1500D and am purchasing a rotary cutter, box blade, and tiller. I need to know the length of most 4' rotary cutters. I am hopefully going to buy a dump trailer (7x14) that I can use for my construction business as well, but don't know if it will fit?

Do ya have a loader on it?
Generally your looking at around 5' long to the end of the tail wheel.

No loader yet. But looking. So at 5' long for a bush hog and 102" for the tractor, I guess a 16 foot trailer is barely big enough.

I have a 24hp Iseki and a 5' cutter. It hangs over the back of my 16' trailer about 1'. That is without a loader.

i have a 16 foot dovetail. you will fit with the box blade up front and the tractor pulled on foward and not be hanging off the trailer, I put my 12 disk double gang harrow backwards all the way to the front of the trailer and back my tractor on with bushhog up and then set it down on the harrow and the front tires are like 18-inches from the end of the trailer. Strap the harrow down the bushog down to keep from flopping and strap the tractor to the trailer across middle and on the front bumper it all fits. You may be able to drop the box blade then the tiller up front and still be able to pull on the trailer foward with little hang off or back on with the bushhog on top of the other impliments, that would work. The other way if trailer is wide enough is to pull tractor on foward just enough to get the tail wheel on the trailer and put the BB and tiller , one on each side of the tractor on long ways, or sideways and strap them on either side of the front tires, not sure if a standard trailer is wide enough for this but i have a 2000 and the 1500 is smaller? Oh and all this is without the loader, that you will need at least 18 ft for.

I haul a YM2001 with a box blade on a 6x12 single axle (5000lb axle) and the gate will close. I have to back on the trailer if I have bushhog attached and set the bushhog partially on the front rail of trailer to get the gate to close.

If you plan to add a FEL. IMO. 18' would be a good size. Here is a pic. of a 20' dove tail, 2' is the size of the dove tail so 18' deck. Pulls and hauls great. I have one other trailer 10' but not a DT. I use for around the property or I'm just to lazy to pick it up and put it in the back of the truck. The DT. is the way to go for loading Vehicles. The ramps on my 10' are a PITA. my thrill seeking wheelie days are over:rolleyes: Kidding. Just need to be more careful of the deck height loading on flat beds with implements or weight attached on the back of the tractor .
What is loaded is a YM 2000 and a 5' Finishing mower. If I would add a FEL. and mower attached to the tractor it will still fit easy. I also use it for a 8n with a FEL. that is removed though and is now parked, and a YM 2500 with a 6' bush hog. I would have to remove the back gate if it had a FEL. on the 2500. That doesn't bother me as much as if something was hanging off the trailer:confused: I see your location and you Know as well as I do the way people drive around here and Esp. if I was going towards in Atlanta.

Carey, That is a really nice setup! The 2000 is about 5 inches longer than the 1500. I think I am going to look at 18' long trailers with brakes. I have a 5x10 that will hold the tractor and maybe an implement or two if I stand them up and stack them. But they are heavy and who wants to wrestle with it. I just want to load it and go.
