Trailer suggestions for Kioti CK3510 and 2015 v6 tacoma w/tow package

After years of internal debate I've settled on a Kioti CK3510HST for my 34 acres in NH and 13 acre VT home! May want bigger in the future when I got more time on my hands but for now its a great compact tractor that I can move around a few times a year with the v6 Tacoma I got. With a 6200lb tow limit and tractor/loader/backhoe coming in around 4100lbs I'm looking to minimize trailer weight to save some headroom for kids/dog/gear/tools. Curious what the lightest/safe/economical but durable trailer options folks like best? I started with a local VT dealer who suggested two BigTex models: 70CH-14 1,610lbs 83 x 14 Tandem Axle Trailer; and 70CH-16 1,760lbs 83 x 16 Tandem Axle Trailer.
If the 14' will work that gives me 500lb... sounds good but at $3500 shiny new I'm open to alternatives.
A good tried and true used model might be the deal - any ideas? Thanks

How do you get 4100 pounds? The tractor weighs between 2600 and 3300 pounds depending on the options. The backhoe weighs 1000 and the loader weighs 840. How those specs were obtained isn't stated but it's usually without buckets on the loader and backhoe and possibly without fluids in the tractor. If the backhoe has a subframe it's unlikely that's included in the 1000 pound weight. If you loaded the tires that's definitely not included in the tractor weight. I don't think you have enough truck.

Agree with 4570Man 100 %. When I bought my tractor I drove 6 hours to pick it up. It came with a 20 ft. trailer. I had a F150 V8. It was all I could do to get it home. 45 miles an hour on the interstate was as fast as the truck would pull it. Felt like a I had a tank back there. I had no idea what I was doing. So on top of buying a new tractor, I ended up trading that F150 that week for a F250 SuperDuty Diesel and another payment.

I'm hardly ever worried about engine power in a towing question. Brakes and suspension are more important.

YIKES !!I think your toyota 6 banger will struggle with that load especially on any type of hills.

with others, truck size i question, trailer length i also question.

pending on were wheels are located on trailer, and were the tractor actual seats on the trailer. so as to provide correct weight on the tongue..... plus room to strap down the FEL, and strap down the backhoe, and also strapping down the tractor itself. (each one separately tied/chained down, granted all attached to tractor, but each one separately chained to trailer.) plus ramps for trailer (pending on how ramps attach to trailer when not load/unloading), you may need longer trailer.

most likely some sort of "jack" / legs on rear of trailer, so you do not pickup rear end of truck when loading/unloading tractor.

running the old 1997 s10 chevy blazer v6, 4.3L with like size trailer. light loads ya ok. but once you get those heavier loads on it. *meh* forget it.

get a truck that you have a "transmission temp gauge" and get a bigger truck. some trucks besides the brake controller and hitch type. there might be a setting for the computer of the truck itself for towing that needs to be set. (adjusts transmissions gear changing points)

You guys are 100% right and the jokes on me - looks like I forgot to carry a one adding that up more like ~5100 lbs.
For now tractor gets delivered to NH where it'll get used the most and I'll look into paying to trailer it the 130 miles back/forth to VT for the short term. As for long term solution we'll see if I move it enough to warrant swapping trucks w/6% VT sales tax.

Don't short yourself on a trailer. GVWR and length. Borrowed a friends trailer, all steel construction, to haul my CK30hst with loader and bh attached. I was glad it was an 18 footer because from loader bucket to the back of the bh is long and it was 10,000 GVWR. It had electric brakes on both axles. If you go with a 7,000 lb trailer, the weight of all the tractor and trailer will be at or close to the limit. I pulled it with an F250 which made it nice. Your Tacoma might be hurting a bit in power but more importantly is your tow limit. You could look for an aluminum trailer, which are still strong, but save a little on trailer weight which is part of the overall gross load capacity of the trailer.

One benefit to a longer trailer and something that isn't well balanced like a tractor and the various implements, is that you can move the tractor forwards and backwards more to equalize and level the load on the trailer.

Taking a tractor with a backhoe mounted up would need moved forward on the trailer farther than if it only had a post hole digger hanging back there. Having the tractor in the same position on the trailer would make the trailer tail-heavy and sway-happy with the backhoe...

The only way you want a trailer that "just fits" is if you are 100% sure the balance of the load will never be changed, and try it out ahead of time to ensure good balance with the load you want it to haul.

I think you will need an 18' trailer. You are going to be at or over the weight limit on a 7000 pound trailer and your truck will be near the max as well. Might as well get the right trailer. You can upgrade your next truck.
