getting my toolcat this week, my farm is 5 miles blacktop-country road and 10 miles narrow gravel road from home, at top speed 18miles per hour little slow, so i guess trailer is my answer, i need trailer just strong enough and wide enough for toolcat, i'll leave attachments at one place or another. suggestions ? thank you ( i'm also buying 90 inch mowing deck, grapple bucket, and tiller

Why do you want a trailer just wide enough or strong enough for the TC? The TC weighs about 5400 lbs. I don't know if that includes a bucket. A 7K trailer will be boarderline enough for capacity. TC would probably fit on a 12' trailer (with a little overhang) but you will want more length. Personally, I would look for a 10K trailer in at least 18' length. If you plan to haul the TC and mower, you will want at least 20' length. The 90" mower attached to the TC will not fit between the fender wells of a trailer and the mower will have to sit in front or behind the fenders. The extra length will help you balance the load better. The wheels on the 90" mower will just fit on the deck of a full width trailer with fenders. You will want a trailer with 82-84" between the fenders. The cost of a longer trailer does not add much to the price of a trailer.

If you want to haul the mower, TC and another attachment, you will need a 24' trailer. I hauled my TC home with 90" mower, bucket, PHD and 12" bit and it took most of my 24' 14K trailer. PHD was partially in the bucket.

By the way, congrats on you purchase!

If you don't plan on hauling the TC much, consider renting a trailer.

my ford 4x4 150 only has towing limit of 8400 lbs, so i'm mostly looking at only towing tc. thanks

A 16' tandem 7000 lb rated "car hauler" should work fine and be reasonably cheap - probably can find good used. If you only need occasionally, these can often be rented from UHaul or tool & equipment rental places. The overall width (fender-to-fender) will likely be around 96" or 102". If this is too much, you will have to find a specialty or custom built unit.

Good Luck

Having bought a 16 foot full width trailer for my toolcat, my fist suggetion would be to get one at least that long. I use mine to haul the toolcat and implements and wish I had bought a 20 foot trailer. Lots of time I have used the toolcat to load something and then had to go back for the toolcat to unload them.
Actually if miles at full speed is less than an hour, wondering if you couldn't drive it. Might even pick up some work on the trip.
