Training to Perform Annual Maintenance on Kohler 20KW Generator

I have scheduled an appointment with a local fuel energy company, that also installs Kohler generators, for an annual maintenance. I have been told that a tech that normally services boilers will also do the Kohler maintenance. He hasn't been trained on Kohler generators. I expected that they would have specially trained techs on Kohler generators.

Should I have a tech that has not been trained on Kohler generators perform the annual maintenance?

Has he been trained to work on any generator ?? If yes, he should have no problems servicing your Kohler
