anyone have any trans issues. after about 15 hrs or so on this new mower i noticed yesterday when i backed it into my shed that the trans sounded like nuts and bolts in there instead of that gear whine. called the dealer and the lady said they have had some issues with the trans so now i am wondering - also had the engine pop a few times too but hopefully that is not an issue and may work itslef out.

since not within a month - towing to dealer and back is not covered under warranty - that sucks.

had issue with the co-op simplicity dealer last year 3x and down for 2 plus months in the hottest weather so had to cut most of an acre by hand with a small push mower - so i bought this husky and from a legit dealer as opposed to big box and now an issue or 2. i am jinxed with these **** garden tractors over the years and i do not beat them either....Go figure.

well turns out trans is bad - waiting to see if Husqvarna will cover it under warranty - should **** - it is brand new. we'll see how they deal with this...

I am not sure if your model has the Tuff Torq K57 "Fast" transmission OR the GT (General Transmission) CVT RS800.

well all most 3 weeks without my mower. it is under warranty but they will repair and not replace the trans and the parts are well in limbo. i have to pay for transport there and back. the dealer is truning out to be a real jerk and has a wise*ss mouth and response too. I am seriously thinking of never getting a husqvarna again and also will skip a new chainsaw too - i will go with a higher end echo. i realize that this could be a fluke but the dealer and the time husqvarna took to make a call on warranty - after maybe 5 times cutting the grass is crazy - went there last year with simplicity and the co-op for 2 months and then 2 weeks later same part broke and they were terrible re: any service or warranty.

the dealer and husky really let me down and is a big disappointment - for what it is worth.

just wanted to fill you in on this.

meantime my grass is a foot tall due the storms we have had.

YTA is plastic General Transmission. Good luck, those are junk. I have never stocked/sold one and never intend to. They will disappear in the next few years hopefully. I don't believe there is any sort of repair on those trans under warranty, Husqvarna backs the warranty and it's R&R for those things in the event of failure. The warranty procedure is **** to deal with on the paperwork that GT demands in order for anything to be processed and approved. It's not fun being the consumer with one of those units but it's also not fun to be a dealer having to to deal with these things!
