transmission bearing replacement

I have a 1970 Ford 4000 8 speed. I split tractor to replace clutch. Can i replace the front input shaft bearing without splitting transmission from rear end?

Yes to both.

I would think you can, can the bearing be accessed from the front of the transmission without disassembly?
