The sync/shift transmission is more like a traditional gear drive transmission, with 3 forward gears and 1 reverse gear, with 3 ranges , leaving you with a 9/3 configuration. My thought on this transmission it works well in warmer climates, but when it gets close to 0 degrees, it shifts hard.
The e power reverser is new. But the basic transmission has been around for awhile. It was 4 gears, with 3 ranges leaving a 12/12 config. You can shift from forward to reverse without the clutch with a lever, making it a great transmission for loader work.
The e-hydro is also new, but they have had hydros for years. Best for performance and convenience, and they seem to hold up under normal conditions just fine. 3 ranges with pedal operation makes this very simple to operate.
Now the bad--the e power reverser is $1200 more and the e hydro is $2400 more (at list) than the sync shift.
I hope this helps you and doesn't confuse you more.
