transmission dipstick on Belarus 500

We have a Belarus 500 tractor and cannot seem to find the location of the transmission dipstick. We have the service manual that shows a picture of one on the left side of the tractor behind the steps a little to the right in a rectangular plate on the transmission. Ours does not have a dipstick there. Is there anyone that is familiar with this tractor who knows if there is one on it? Otherwise we will have to drain the trans oil and fill it with the required amount. Thank you so much. teamvogel
