Transmission filter on BX2370

Replaced the trans filter at 50 hours, as specified in the owner's manual. What a PIA to remove this filter. I used a pair of wide opening channel lock pliers to remove the old filter. Buggered it up pretty badly, but since it's a throwaway, not a problem. I was unable to get any of my bottom gripping tools into the narrow space available. Is there a better way to do this?

I use a pair of the $8.11 Oil Filter Pliers. Always wanted one of the $58.74 Chain Link removers though. Maybe someday I will have a weak moment and pay that for something used once a year.

Thanks, Sandy and Gator. As pricey as Kubota filters are, they should weld a hex nut on the bottom, a la K&N. Hope this one will release easier than the original, when it comes time to replace. I値l pick up a pair of the oil filter pliers the next time I知 in WM.
