I have a tractor where the transmission oil light came on. We have changed the oil pressure switch and the light hasn't gone off. I've been told that the wires have been checked for any pinching as well and nothing was wrong with them. We aren't sure what to check next. The customer, as well as ourselves, would appreciate the help.

Maybe post make, model, and tranny, and help will appear.

Does the light come on with voltage or without? In other words is the switch in the sensor normally open or closed? If it comes on with voltage does it go out with the switch not in the circuit? I have seen switches bad right from the box.

I would also check the wires myself. If I had a dime for every time someone said they checked something and didn't or didn't do it right, I could retire.

You say customer? Are you a dealer? Can't you check with the "factory" support?
