Trash pumps

Hello,anyone own or use a trash pump? I am interested in hearing from anyone about their experience with a trash pump,especially in pumping slurry or even grout or mortar. I was advised by a dealer on another forum to use a trash pump instead of a manual grout pump for shooting grout into a tunnel to fill it up with out voids.I have never owned one nor used one for a long time,then not to pump grout.Thank you for your information!
