Treadle play

I have an older Power Trac 425 like Moss's. Mine was owned by a landscape company until I bought it about 4 years ago. Mine has a lot of wear on her so i have been slowly trying to fix things here and there. Anyway there is a lot of play in the treadle linkage. I wonder how much powetr that is costing me when traveling. I was wondering how much play there is on some of these older models, say measured at the tip of the forward peddle. Does anyone know if these parts are available anymore from Power Trac? Any help is apreciated

PT should have them in stock, and if not, there is a company called Morse that makes up custom cables.


Pt probably purchases from them, but Morse is cheaper, and they are the same thing.

If you do a search for Morse, I think they have work sheet so yo can fill in the data for your cable. It will then be on file and you can order more anytime.
