Hi All,

I've order some Cold Hardy Avocado Trees, at the time I thought the Hardiness Zone for my area was a 7 and I thought the trees were a 7-11.

However, someone changed something or I had just been looking over to many trees and made the mistake, they are 8-11.
Depending on which website you go to my 64772 area is a 6-7 at the Arbor Day site, 6b at the USDA site and 5b at the National Gardening Association website.

Looks like a good winter could make my 3 trees very unhappy.

The info on fast-growing-trees says that these trees planted in a container will stay about 5-7 feet tall, small enough to move indoors yet still provide a lot of fruit.

They don't mention what size container I would need for the trees and no reply to the email...must be a busy time of the season.

Anywho, I was thinking of getting three tough containers that I could move with the tractor to get the trees in the out building or later into a dedicated green house. Something like this livestock tank.

There are different sizes of tanks at the local farm place, maybe put it on a pallet to make it easy to move, not sure...any suggestions.

Thanks.
