Here's my version. After using it for several days, I discovered it is way over-built, but that's not a problem. More fingers are in the works, I had to prove to myself it would work first. Now I have to figure out what color to paint it...

Now let me see......you have a NH1725, right? O.K........hmm/w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif? Gee, I don't know. Maybe BLUE might work? /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

It is a GREAT looking tree getter! /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

I'm getting a severe case of welder envy, Paul.

Gary, please don't take this the wrong way. I don't want to sound like Richard Cranium, but yes, blue is the obvious color. Believe it or not, what's left of the yellow does make it more visible in a dark shed. I don't want to be tripping over this thing. But the yellow is associated with green. Safety orange would work that wouldn't make sense either. You're right, I'll just paint it blue.

Antique tractors have often been referred to as "over-built". But, there are thousands of them over 60 years old that are still in use! I agree that there's no such thing as over-built.

Darn good ideal Paul.

Looks like you have more uses than a tree-getter..rock remover,w/a platform install a carry all, loosen up a hard bank for dirt removing etc...

Far as color /w3tcompact/icons/hmm.gif orange /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Paul,

Hey, no worries! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif I was just having a little fun, that's all. I was actually worried that you might take my comments wrong!/w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif

Personally, I really don't care what color someone paints something. It's their choice, and if someone else doesn't like it, well that's just too d_ _ _ bad! Heck, my wife (the interior designer) would probably say that color contrast is good! /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif

Just make sure that whatever color you do finally decide to use, you take pictures for us!! /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Paul,
Very nice invention. What are the fingers made from?

Paul,
That is a very nice piece of craftsmanship.

Harv,
I have to second your comment. My Dad said this morning that he has a chance to sell his small mig welder and that he was thinking of buying a plasma one. Heck, neither he nor I can use the one he already owns. I need to have somebody teach me.
Maybe we can get Muhammad to start a some TBNr's corrospondance courses, where some of the members can teach us how to do all this stuff. /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
