Hello all,
I was wondering if anyone had purchased the PT Tree Hugger, but was using it for a completely different purpose. In my case, I would consider using it as a poor man's rock grapple (alternative to EZ Spot UR - Rock and Tree Hand is the ideal multi-purpose attachment.), to build a dry stone fence.
Attached pics show the project 1/3-1/2 completed, done by hiring a local with a backhoe. What's left to do would be adding more height with smaller boulders than what you see, but large rocks nonetheless.
I was thinking that the tree hugger would be a better choice of implement than forks for that job, and would be a reasonable compromise in price & capability between forks and a genuine rotating rock grapple.
Bye for now,
