Tree Spades, Shrub Buckets, etc. for tractors

I have a large number of trees and shrubs I need to "relocate" from one part of my property to another. I have attempted to do this manually (with hand shovels) in the past, and also tried "scooping up" and transplanting with a FEL. All were dismal failures. Now that I am getting a tractor, is there a skid steer mount or pTO mount attachment that might actually not kill the tree when I move it?

AustinTX it depends on what the weight of your tractor is as to whether or not you can use this tree spade if you want to go the quick attach route. They have a video on this page showing it in action but with you using a tractor your going to need a lot of tractor weight for down pressure.

Hi Austin,

I have a stump bucket from Markham Welding, (now Gator Attachments?). It has been great for moving and replanting shrubs and small trees. Fairly reasonable in price, too.
