Thanks for the advice! A part of me definitely wants to contract it out and make it someone elses problem. Then again, it's all raw undeveloped land except where I need to cross the driveway to tap the power, so kind of a shame to hire it out just to cover my *** for those 15 feet. The driveway serves one house with power/fiber optic - no gas lines - and the high voltage is in conduit. I would carefully dig where they mark first and try to expose the conduit.

811, whether or not required by law, is a no brainer. Photos sound like a good idea too and maybe some third party confirmation.
