Well the trade off with the purchase of this machine is that there have been alot of jobs I have been telling my wife i needed it for. Time to pay the piper.
This is the stump from a beautiful red maple that someone planted years ago when it was small enough to be a part of their landscaping. Now, it stood about 20 foot tall and was beginning to root under our slab foundation.
Since this is my first TLB, I was in for quite a ride on the backhoe today. With the tree being this close to the house, I was quite nervous about causing damage to the siding. Nonetheless, the stump is out and I'm a little wiser on the fundamentals of stump removal as well as working close to the house with a BH. (Only 2x for those of you wondering how many times I hit the house
