I also must deal with the same cold Pennsylvania winters and was wondering if you ended up buying any of that Triax UTTO Supreme THF. If you are using it, how did it work in the cold weather and will you buy it again ?
Options for full Syn are very limited and the price seems right.

An older original post but....I like the AMSOIL Tractor/Hydraulic fluid in my Kioti CK30HST. The pour point is -58F and the fire point is 475F, extremes that not too many other manufactures can match, along with a very low wear rate as measured in Lab testing. No need for seasonal changes so it saves me money and aggravation too. From the website "Formulated for combinations of transmission, hydraulic systems, final drives, power take-off systems and wet brakes. Engineered specifically to meet the tough applications of heavy-duty farm and industrial equipment." AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil SAE 5W-3
I find that I can move my FEL or begin blowing snow etc., almost immediately after the engine smooths out on a cold start and all functions operate as if it was a summer day. My tractor is 250 yards away from my house and I don't feel like standing around in the cold for 30 minutes while I let the tractor warm up. I recently brought hydro to the barn so I can use a block heater to warm the engine now, but it made a noticeable difference right from day one. I order it off the AMSOIL website and it's on my porch a day or two later, works for me. Dutchy
