\'Tribute to Heroes\' Telethon
Tomorrow night is the 'Tribute to Heroes' telethon on all networks to raise money for victims affected by last week's tragedy in New York, Washington and Pennsylania. As an AT&T employee I am proud to be a part of one of five call centers that will be manned by volunteer employees and funded by AT&T. I will be on the phones in Washington DC tomorrow night from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM EST, one of 500 folks in that one center alone. At any other time they would have to beg folks to do something like this but they have turned away thousands of employees and spouses since they filled the chairs. I was very happy to get in...it will feel good to take even this small part in contributing to the cause. Call me!
