Tribute to my Uncle

Good Evening Guys,
My Uncle Gunther passed away the other day, he was someone that I looked up to for many years. I will miss him greatly and thought I would post an article on this site that was written in the Ridgefield Times the other day.

Im sure you would enjoy his company if you had the oppurtunity to have met him !

Sorry to hear about your loss Scotty. Sounds like he was one of the good ones and will be missed by all who knew him

Quite a legacy there. Not often you hear of someone being married that long. Sounds like he led a fairly active life right up to the end. That should be a lesson to all of us. Thanks for posting, and our condolences to the family.

Mr. Martin sure seems to have had a productive and happy life. The world will miss good men like him. Scotty, we extend our sympathy and share your loss. My mother and father and all aunts and uncles are gone. I fill the void with good memories; it works.

Thanks for a very pleasant read about your uncle who applied himself in many practices, from the tough disciplene of electrical engineering, to the arts. His contributions to science and engineering are great, as well as his devotion to his family, and photos. I'm sure that you miss him much, and will for a long time. Sorry to read about your loss. A truly great person who worked hard at life, and enjoyed it's pleasures. So many squander their time, and achive nothing, but this guy went at living with gusto, and made something out of his life, and left a legacy.....May he rest in peace, knowing he did all he could. Nothing more can be asked of a feller with such high standards.
