I am going to build a blast cabinet, I plan on getting the "kit" from TP Tools. I cannot decide which to get, the trigger or footpedal operated one, looking for advice please.
I bought mine about ten years ago and it's got the foot pedal and I really like it. It frees up your hands if you need to move heavy items in the cabinet. I did use a friends cabinet blaster one time that had the trigger and I found it very difficult to use for any amount of time. As I said. Mine is 10 years old and If I had to replace it I'd get the same one again. It is an essential part of the shop and used daily.
You might want to look into a "Boron" nozzle. I had the same nozzle in mine since new. Another great feature you should consider is a reclaim system. Mine has it and it will recycle the media and put it back into a holding box that have a screen in it. The worn material goes into a vacuum bag and then into a bucket. The reusable media goes back to the cabinet to be used again. If you need any detailed photos just let me know. The link will show you one very close to the one I have. Good luck with your project!
