This may sound a little crazy, but the banjo coupling into the injection system (line from the tank to the injection system) may have a clog in it where it goes into the injection syst. take the bolt loose and see if you have good fuel flow, if not run a wire into the line (back towards the tank)...see it that helps, if not, back blow with a compressor on it till you hear bubbles in the tank(take the fuel cap off first)...Hope this helps...I replaced fuel filters on my 6000 and it was the above,,, once I took the line loose, just a small flow came out...when I hit it with the air hose...mucho fuel started coming out...be ready to turn off the fuel at the tank...BobG in VA

In case you don't have an owners manual, you might need to drain the fuel tank at least once or more in the tractor's lifetime. It could be possible there is a clog in the bottom. Are you getting fuel to the injectors?

yes I am getting fuel to the injectors, but I may not be getting enough. Thanks for the tips, I will try this tomorrow

One other item....how did it act when it quit?? If your injection pump/cam for valves, etc, has gotten off timing, it would act that way even if you were getting fuel..Do you get smoke out of the exhaust when you try to start it?? BobG in VA

at first it just quit running (just died) then after letting it sit for awhile it would start and run for up to about 1 minute or so. now it wont even try to start, i`m going try blowing back the line here in awhile, and yes i did get some smoke when trying to start it

Check your air intake. It sounds like it could be a badly clogged filter.

I blew back the fuel line from the filters back to the tank and it started right up. wish i had known this the other day, would have saved me alot of work. Thanks Bob G
